Our Story, Mission, and Lifelong Love for Animals
After more than 30 years of combined experience caring for animals, we began offering our trusted services to the public in July 2025. Our devotion to animal well-being began in childhood--from the rhythm of barn chores to supporting pets in the comfort of their homes. Caring for animals has always been woven into our daily lives and remains our greatest joy.
We've had the privilege of caring for animals of all kinds, and our passion extends across every species we serve. From dogs and cats to small animals, livestock, exotics, and equines, we bring hands-on experience and genuine care -- to every visit.
Together, we share our lives with a loyal pack of dogs, our beloved horses (boarded nearby), and one very spirited mouse named Sergeant Whiskers.
Our dream is to one day own a big property where we can rescue animals in need and provide safe, loving in-home care to pets of all kinds. Until then, we bring our dedication, knowledge, and compassion directly to your doorstep -- treating every pet like family.

Beth Diamond, Owner/Operations Manager/Animal Care Specialist
Beth grew up immersed in the barn environment, spending her days at a local stable from sunrise to sunset. She helped care for horses, cleaning the barn, assisting at horse camps, supporting and participated in show days. She began pet sitting as a child and has gained hands-on experience with reptiles, small mammals, dogs, cats, amphibians, and farm animals.
In addition to her lifelong animal care experience, Beth is also a successful small-business owner with over 23 years as a professional hairstylist and more recently, a salon suite owner. Her calm, caring approach and dedication helps pets feel safe, understood, and loved.
John Hill,
Lead Pet Sitter/ Animal Care Specialist
John personally grew up surrounded by animals -- 17 cats, 5 dogs, 11 aquariums, 2 bunnies, 3 turtles, and a blue-and gold-macaw. His natural connection with animals, plus experience caring for farm animals and his current role as Barn Manager at a private farm, gives him a calm, confident touch with pets of all kinds.
John also brings a strong work ethic from his background in steel and warehouse operations, along with a compassionate heart through his involvement in community support and historical preservation efforts --- always ready to help people and pets in need.

We proudly serve pets and their families within a 20-mile radius of our home base in Avon Lake, Ohio.
---Including towns like Avon, Bay Village, Sheffield Lake, Westlake, Sheffield, North Ridgeville, North Olmsted, Lorain, Fairview Park, Rocky River, Elyria, Olmsted Falls, Grafton, Lakewood, Lagrange, Columbia Station, Amherst, and Berea.
Need care outside of the radius?
We're happy to travel beyond 20 miles for the right situation, especially for Overnight Stays and extended care needs.
Over 20 miles that we have traveled to: Vermilion, Medina, Middleburg Heights, Spencer, Chatham, Litchfield, Strongsville, Oberlin, North Royalton, Brunswick, Wakeman, and other cities.
Please note: mileage fees apply based on distance.
IRS MILEAGE RATE:
- First 20 miles round-trip: Included in service price.
- Over 20 miles round-trip: $0.50 per mile will be charged.
- Over 50 miles round-trip: $0.65 per mile will be charged.
- Over 80 miles round trip: $1.00 per mile will be charged.
*A Flat Travel Fee may be available as an alternative to our per-mile charge, based on your location and care needs. Just ask--we're happy to discuss the best option for you!

*For farther travel (typically over 45-50+ miles), our Overnight Stay Packages are strongly preferred to ensure consistent and reliable care without multiple long trips per day.
